About the Workshop
Join Tobias Doyle for a confidence building workshop where kids do some crafting, some performance, have some fun, and do whole lot of magic.

This is a confidence building workshop for children aged 6-10. We look at developing their improvisation and performance skills as well as their stage presence.
The workshop runs for 4 hours from 9am to 1pm.

The skills each child will develop:​

Confidence - practicing performing in a supportive and collaborative environment to build up to a performance in front of supportive loved ones.

Creativity - creating a narrative for the performance.

Design - decorating and creating the visual looks of the tricks to enhance the performance.

Respect - to work collaboratively with other, listening to their ideas and providing feedback to enhance.

Break down of the workshop:
9:00-9:15 - Welcome and meet and greet.
9:15-09:55 - Ice breakers and improvisation games
10:00-10:30 - Using materials, building the magic tricks they want to perform.
10:30-11:00 - Practicing the trick and becoming familiar with the mechanics.
11:00-11:10 - short break.
11:10-12:00 - Devising the performance and getting feedback from the group.
12:00-12:30 - Rehearsal of performance.
12:30-13:00 - Show and tell performance in front of loved ones.
